When Anna reached out for a family session, I thought it would be a usual request. But then she mentioned livestock—horses, a calf, and some pigs to be exact, and I got really excited. lol I knew this session would be amazing and I was not wrong!!

On top of showcasing her kiddo’s Colton and Lilly’s 4H animals, she wanted to include her 14 year old Shepherd/Lab mix Wrangler, who was just the sweetest pup—she followed us everywhere and just laid down to patiently wait for us.

We ended the session with Anna and her horse Lexus, who she’s had since the age of 2. Lexus was her own 4H horse, and is now Lilly’s at the age of 21. Lexus began showing signs of Melanoma cancer in 2012, so every year they have with her is precious—you can see how special this sweet girl is to her owners. While Mom grabbed a few photos, she really wanted this session for Lilly. And wow, what an ending!

With Lexus’ beautiful white coat and Lilly’s gorgeous curls and freckles, it looks just like a fairy tale!! 🥰 Just beautiful.
